At 39, I unraveled the source of my lifelong strugglesā€”complex PTSD. Battling depression and anxiety, I confronted a two-decade-long struggle with alcoholism, a journey that eventually led me to sobriety and a renewed commitment to putting family first. Little did I know, the decision to create a home with my single parent would become both a challenge and a catalyst for profound healing.
Revisiting the traumatic echoes of my childhood, I discovered a desperate need for healing and understanding. In the depths of despair, I unearthed the life-altering tools of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and the grounding practice of Ashtanga yoga.
