About Me
Ā
"Yoga and learning new communication skills have been instrumental for me to heal from trauma. Sharing the tools that haveĀ completely transformed my life is what I enjoy the most." Mandi Gardner
Ā
Mandiās exposure to DBT transformed her life in a mere 12 weeks, a stark contrast to the limited results from 15 years of talk therapy. Her profound experiences propelled her to volunteer and receive training in DBT skills through Family Connections of NEABPD. She has been sharing these life-changing skills for several years, aiming to empower others with the tools that helped reshape her life.
After a fulfilling 25-year career as a hairstylist and salon owner, she is ready to focus her energy on what really lights her up now. Helping other women heal the symptoms of trauma through the profound healing method of Ashtanga yoga and learning new skills.
She is also an aspiring author, currently working on a unique book that blends fiction with self-help, expected to be published next year. When not teaching or writing, Mandi cherishes time spent with her family and tending to her garden.
Mandiās favorite role has been that of a teacher, both in the realms of Ashtanga yoga and DBT, where she integrates her personal journey with professional expertise. Alongside her career, she enjoys exploring the tranquility of nature; she is also an avid reader, constantly seeking new knowledge and insights.
